Shorten your reins! I say it
often enough, I even put it on a t-shirt!
And although I've had a few
non-horse people read the t-shirt and think I was
espousing some high-falutin' metaphysical zen
principle, I really mean exactly what it says:
shorten your reins, and then stop hanging on your
horse's mouth!
I'm building (and note the
present-tense here) this website to help
supplement my lessons with my dressage riders at
William Woods University. Not a college student?
No problem! Join right in. As soon as you shorten
your reins.

Oh, and some of this work is for the William Woods University
